Code of Conduct:
Smart Data informs its customers that they are entitled to the following rights, in compliance with the 2005 Electronic Communications Act and subsequent regulations:
- To provide the required service without any unfair discrimination
- To receive information in their preferred language
- To access and question consumer account information
- To protect their personal data and to not have personal data sold to third parties without their permission
- To port a number
- To lodge a complaint (details below) and a right to redress
Smart Data endeavours at all times to:
- Act fairly, reasonably and responsibly in all matters;
- To ensure that services & products comply with the correct specifications in all relevant legislation and regulations
- Not discriminating against customers on grounds of race , gender, sex , age, religion, disability, ethnicity or sexual orientation
- Expressing maximum courtesy and concern when dealing with consumers
- Provide information to customers about services and prices
- Offer assistance to consumers, on request, to their customers ‘ needs
- Keeping personal details private for customers
- Advise consumers to refer their unresolved complaints to ICASA
